Introduction

R+D understands that effective project management includes the development of strategies, tactics, and tools for managing the design; creating a construction delivery processes which maximizes budget and delivery schedule; and controlling key factors throughout the entire process to ensure the end result is a facility that matches its expectations and functions as they are intended.  We believe any improvements to any facility should directly contribute to reduced operational costs and increased satisfaction for all of its intended stakeholders.  Successful project delivery requires the implementation of management systems that will control changes in the key factors of scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk to optimize quality and investment

Volar Center for Independent Living. 

Key Member was Architect of Record for a 6,000 S.F. Renovation. Removal of architectural barriers and provide an independent work environment, automation of all exterior entry doors, expansion and ADA compliance renovation of existing restrooms, renovation of existing reception area to make both sides of desk accessible, renovation of hallways to provide two-way wheelchair traffic, and increased automation and day-lighting to promote an independent working environment.

Project voted Texas Independent Living Center for 2012.

Tigua Business Center. A 9,000 s.f Renovation to an existing maintenance facility for reuse as a Business Center for Economic Development, Tigua Inc. and possible tribal incubator companies.  Sustainable concepts include; reuse of 75% of the existing building, control of stormwater runoff, control of water use, and use of regional materials.
